Villa College and Shanghai University have signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, on 24th February 2025, to enhance academic research and expand educational opportunities for students. The partnership will focus on faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, conferences, and collaborative degree programs. Over the next years, both institutions will engage in various activities aimed at promoting mutual growth and knowledge sharing. This collaboration is set to boost global learning experiences and foster innovation in education. The agreement was signed by Villa College Rector, Dr Ahmed Anwar, and Vice President of Shanghai University, Professor Yu Xuemei, who was accompanied by HUANG Pei, Deputy Director of International Office, YANG Jin, Deputy Director of Alumni Office, and LI Li, Vice Dean, School of Environment & Chemical Engineering as the delegation from Shanghai University that visited the Maldives for the signing ceremony.
