Villa College Marks the Approach of Ramadan with Joyous a Maahefun

Villa College recently hosted its annual Maahefun gathering, a vibrant celebration marking the approach of Ramadan 1446H. The event, held on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, at the VC Hall, brought together staff and students from Villa College and Villa International High School (VIHS) for an afternoon of community, tradition, and delicious food.


The Maahefun was a resounding success, filled with laughter, shared moments, and a strong sense of community spirit. Attendees enjoyed a program that included:



  • Welcome and Staff Introductions

  • The highly anticipated announcement of the Annual Trip winners

  • Greetings from the Rector - Dr. Ahmed Anwar, who emphasized the importance of community and reflection during Ramadan.

  • Insightful remarks on Ramadan by Mr. Ahmed Fayaz Hassan, Lecturer at QISB.

  • The distribution of Ramadan gift packs for staff


The event provided a valuable opportunity for the Villa College and VIHS community to connect and strengthen bonds before the commencement of the holy month. It served as a reminder of the importance of tradition, togetherness, and the spirit of giving.
